Why Don’t You Run For Office?

We all know the problems. We know that more work must be done. Now it is up to us, rather, it is still up to us, to take control of the issues that affect us.
Talk is cheap. And we have been talking for too long. What can we do to make sure 2012 includes us, our issues, and our voices? For starters, we can mobilize women around the country. We can begin with our local political systems and getting more women on the ballots. Don’t we owe it to those who have come before us to make sure women have more of a voice in government? Of course we do.
