Don’t Be Afraid To Use Your Weapon
“Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.” Zig Ziglar
You rule this world, you are just afraid to admit it. I want to hear more women say, “I rule this world” because everyone knows it. More of us are educated, yet undervalued in every area. With the love of God, we are able to multiply a generation by bringing human beings to this world. Yet we are punished for it by our countries. When we fight to not be controlled sexually, we are harassed and called names, isolated by society and our families. I wonder why this world is afraid of us. We are manipulated and limited to making major decisions in the places we work, live and not to mention our own homes. We are criticized and ripped apart when we fight for our rights and made fun of when we are sexually harassed by powerful men. Politicians, the media and the most famous radio talk show hosts, our mothers want us to stay silent. Because they think by keeping you silent they are protecting your dignity in a society that despised you already.
You are who you are, a woman, powerful and wanted by men, like it or not. A man said to me once, “If I had a vigina, I would never leave my house”. Women are and have the greatest weapon on earth. The problem is not making smart use of it to change our inequalities. To be taken seriously; we must use our weapons to have the world in the palm of our hands. First we must stop joking with the most powerful weapons. We need to stop looking at ourselves as individuals and victims by start thinking collectively.
Whatever your weapon is, use it to make the world a BETTER place today.
Jeanose Lexima strives to inspire and fight for equality for all, particular women. I detest unfairness. I speak and challenge myself everyday to inspire someone, most importantly be inspired by learning from the world.
